    Hi,

I'm torn between these two sets - has anyone seen both on high quality
inputs and can compare the pq, regardless of price and form factor?

I'd be particularly interested in knowing whether Xbox connected to the 505
using the Hi-Def kit looks good. Several people have said it looks excellent
    on the SP50.

How does Freeview on the Pio compare to the Samsung when using a good
    Freeview box?

What about 720p HD from a PC or upscaled DVD via HDMI - how do they
compare? Would anybody argue that the SP50 actually looks better than
    the Pio in some circumstances?

    Looking forward to your replies...

I've got the hidef kit on a 435xde (which i think is the 43inch version of the 50inch 505) and it's beyond brilliant. However... i think if you feed rubbish into the pio i.e. cheap scart from sky it is a lot less forgiving than the dlp would be.
