Hi all, been looking for a 42" or 50" plasma over last couple of weeks. Great advice here, so thanks for that.

My question....Is the PDP-503MXE a good buy at £3525 inc? I know it's end of life and the MXE1 is coming very soon.

    Help!!

Yes, new and full warranty. I've been looking mainly at the Panasonic 42" which is very highly thought of here, but this Pioneer looks a great bargain. The contrast at 900:1 looked poor compared to Panny 4000:1 - is this anything to worry about?

    What about extended warranty?

OK, the deed is done - it was the last of the stock from Nexnix. Now all I need is a stand. Any ideas about generic deskstands? I'm not in a position to wall mount, unless I rearrange the living room and turn off the radiator etc. which may not go down too well! Nexnix have no stock of Pioneer stand 'till end of month :( Can't wait that long - new toy and all that!!

    Now to think about connectivity....
