I would be intrested to hear peoples thoughts on the Pioneer PDP-436SXE I'm thinking about getting one been quoted £2,094.99 locally or £2,300 with HD DVD Player and Wallbracket.

What do you guys think about it? Or could i do better for that kind of money or less?

If your not wall hanging, have a stand and an Av amp you wont do any better, cracking tv :)

thanks for the feedback, is the price any good?

£2,094.99 for the screen

OR

£2,300 with HD DVD Player and Wallbracket. - think i can switch to a stand.

Will go down and get it in the morning with a bit of luck then :)

Sorry to Hi-jack this thread but a quick question for:

Just about to get a DVD and looking at the Samsung H950. How do you like it? Pioneer are about to bring out a new range of DVD player with HMDI outputs for about £150, so not sure whether to wait and see or buy a H950.
Also what settings are you using for the SXE?
