Hi,

Whilst awaiting delivery of my PIO PDP-435XDE I was wondering how best to connect all my other devices to the media box.
I have a NTL (Pace) STB, TiVo, PS/2 and Samsung HD945.

Current Set up

-> = Output
<- = Input

NTL (Pace) STB

NTL Cable (IN) <- Coax feed
NTL SCART (VCR) -> Not used
NTL SCART (TV) -> TiVo SCART (AUX)
NTL RF (OUT) -> TiVo RF (IN)

Thomson TiVo PVR10

TiVo RF (IN) <- NTL RF(OUT)
TiVo RF (OUT) -> TV RF (IN)
TiVo SCART (VCR) -> Not Used
TiVo SCART (AUX) <- NTL SCART (TV)
TiVo SCART (TV) -> OLD TV SCART (IN)

Proposed new set up

PIONEER PDP-435XDE + Media Receiver, NTL STB, Tivo, Samsung HD945, PS/2

Pioneer Media Receiver (435XDE)

PIO Media Reciever SCART (INPUT1) <- NTL SCART (TV)
PIO Media Reciever SCART (INPUT2) <- TiVo SCART (TV)
PIO Media Reciever SCART (INPUT3) <- Not used using HDMI instead
PIO Media Reciever HDMI (INPUT3) <- Samsung HD945 (HDMI)
PIO Media Reciever CMPST (INPUT4) <- PS/2
PIO Media Reciever ANTRF (IN) <- TiVo RF (OUT)
PIO Media Reciever ANTRF (IN DTV) <- RF ATTENNA ARIEL
PIO Media Reciever ANTRF (OUT) -> TiVo RF (IN)
PIO Media Reciever System Cables -> PDP-435XDE Panel

Anyone else got a similar setup ?

The Samsung HD945 DVD Player will obviously be HDMI connected, my challenge is now to acheive the best picture possible with the other devices.

I would still like to retain the ability to record via my TiVo ,on both the NTL feed and the new in built digital reciever in the media box.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Also, have any of you got any recommended settings for running the panel in for the first 200hrs ?

Michael.
