technical help needed please?...i've been offerred a pioneer 43" plasma tv by parents..it looks great but i know nothing about it and my parents, don't know anything about it other than it looks and sounds great and it cost a lot when they bought it 5 years ago!
..i cannot find anything about this model so my questions are:
1. is it a HDTV/ready/compliant?...i cannot see any hdmi or component video connections?..is it possible to connect a hdmi input by using alternative add-on connectors?
2. will it work with SKY HD or the new FREESAT HD?
3....is it generally known as a good display monitor or is it too old to consider using with today's HD broadcasts?

all i know is it does give a great picture..it needs external speakers and doesn't have a tuner/receiver..but i've already got a bose 3-2-1 surround sysytem and a freesat box/hard drive etc. ..so that's not a problem...just a question of receiving HD and the general 'future proofing' outlook?

i'd be extremely grateful id anyone could give me some general info/advice?..thanks in advance...gavin
