decided it's between Pioneer VSXC100 or Sony STRDE495 both from Richer Sounds.
this is my first home cinema amp and i don't have a big budget.the sound isn't really important cause i'm deaf in my left ear.
i just want something reliable and will be still up to date in the next 5-10 years.
its to go with my Panasonic dmr e55 dvd recorder, eltax ht2 speakers and my next big purchase a widescreen tv.
any help would be great cause i'll be buying in the next 2 weeks.
    thanks

I think either would be fine, but they will never be up to date in 5-10 years. Unfortunately there will always be new stuff coming out! (Or fortunately that is!) ;)

    Enjoy whatever you decide!
