Hi I'm looking at buying one of the new Pioneer machines. anybod ygot one that could offer some review / feedback. Is it worth the extra £200 to go for the 990 rather than the 99.

    thanks

Its the same sub for both. The 990 has different surrounds not just style but technologywise. Im well pleased with the 99 both dvd and musically, but youll have to audition both to see (hear) if its worth 200 more.

The 99 is pearl white no not almost silver would guess the 990 is the same. However the control unit is separate to the player. So if you dont like the look of the player it can be placed out of view
