For anyone interested in the Pioneer MXE1 panel which can be bought for £1399 at Richer Sounds, I rang up yesterday to ask about availability and was told that the following stores each have one new, unopened screen:

    Romford
    Bromley
    Bournemouth
    Hull

and that Colchester have an "open box" one. There may be others, but that's what I know about.

I was thinking about getting one of these, but I've decided to go for a Panasonic panel instead, as I can get interest free credit on one of them! Bear in mind if you're interested, that although this is an HD screen, it doesn't have an HDCP compliant input without buying the Key Digital card.

You may also need to buy an input card (the 7004) for about 200 quid extra. However, this could still be a bargain for someone.

The Input card comes with them or at least it did when I bought mine from Richers 5 months ago.
