Pioneer mini system not powering up

Hi..I have a XC-L11 stereo cd tuner with a M-L11 amp. When plugged in it now lights up as if all is well for about 1/2 a second then turns off and has a flashing red led on the standby button. Any ideas what may be causing this.All help gratefully recieved.Thanks.Paul

Hi I have the same proble here, but the re-powering doesn't seem to be doing the trick??

Do you think it would be worth obtaining the service manual and trying to repair the amp?? (I'm slightly clued up in electronics but never had to dive into this area though)!!!

Any help would be much appreciated!!

If you still have these systems please let me know as I want these systemns for spares or repair of my own system.
