Whilst looking around for the RIGHT deal I have to say that most places offering a FREE 5yr warrenty havent got a price as low as the best prices!
e.g. best prices Ive found are e.g.
www.flattelly.co.uk £3,285 without 5yr warranty
www.superfi.co.uk £3,199 without 5yr warranty
and e.g. John lewis or
www.TLCBroadcast.co.uk £3,499 with 5yr warranty
Here in Ireland theres also alliance electric
they have the Pioneer LX508D WITH the Stand and Speakers and a 5yr warranty for 5,200 thats not a baad price but its a bit more than what I have to spend compared to importing it from UK where it would work out at £3,400 about 4,600 incl delivery but without 5yr warranty.
So you see theres a £300 difference for the units with a 5yr warranty in the UK.
Whilst I merit that the guys on e.g. tlcbroadcast have pulled out stops for customers and have an amazing reputation for the aftersales service problems arising after a sale are all that common so its not like Im gonna have to use after sales service.
Also sales of goods act in EU are covered for 2 years arent they?
Unfortunatly some 'online' retailers cant offer a 5yr warranty comon pioneer whhy not give us all 5yr warranties after all its the same product why does it matter whether its bought online or viewed in a shop?
Can anyone explain the so called Free warranty or post up a link of a retailer offering an Actual FREE 5yr warranty at a competitive price.
