Hi Guys, just a quick question. I have the Pioneer PDP LX6090 and a Onkyo TX NR808. I'm wondering if the TV supports audio return channel on any HDMI connection. I can't seem to find it in the manual and I've just bought this TV so just working out how to connect it to the AVR.

Thanks in advance

Lx6090 is a 2008 TV.
All its chipset electronics are HDMI V1.3

ARC showed up in 2009 as an optional feature with HDMI 1.4 chipsets, so no , your TV does not support ARC.

Your HDMI sources should be connected directly to the HDMI inputs on the amp. The output of the amp connects to any HDMI input on the TV.

If your using the TV,s tuners for TV, as opposed to a set top box like sky or humax, then you will need to connect the TV,s sound output ( optical digital output) to the amp to get TV program sound via the amp.
