I'm guessing these technologies encourage you buy Pioneer rather than cheaper alternatives - what are the benefits? I'm guessing system integration. I'd like a DVD Changer to add to my AVIC-X1, but the Pioneer XDV-P9-II is nearly £1000

Are there any cheaper alternatives that support IP-Bus and/or AV-Bus?

    Thanks.

Also, XDV-P9 from the USA is quite a bit cheaper - would there be any problems installing this in the UK (I realise it will be a R1 machine)?

    Thanks again.
