Hi, I have purchased a pioneer htp-071 surround sound system and when I try to watch my FOXSAT HDR through it via HDMI there is a lip sync issue between the picture and the sound being transmitted from the surround sound system - FOXSAT works fine connected directly to the TV (LG 42LM670T). I have checked, and from what I can see all settings on the TV and surround sound system are correct.

The ARC doesn't seem to work either between the surround sound and TV (ARC turned on, on both systems and the correct HDMI lead) - having to use optical audio instead!

Many thanks in advance for any help,

    Chris

You need to enable CEC (aka Kuro Link, Simplink) on both the amp and the TV, as well as ARC on both devices for ARC to work. The HDMI cable can't be wrong as all HDMI cables ever made (all "versions") support ARC.
