    how good is the pioneer to the denon

    The denon is no more that is wot the denon is.

    Neither is the pioneer though, but if you want THX get it (Unless you already have...)

    If you want all the other avilable sound formats get the newer Denon AVR 3802.

    It will do Ex just not the fully cerified THX version, but the Pioneer will not do any 6/7.1 sound.

    You need the VSA E08 for that.

    if it does not have the ex badge to me it will not do it
