To what extent can I use a Pioneer DVR-630 (DvD/HD-recorder) as my main CD-player (through a Denon AVR-2805 or a Marantz SR-5500 AV-receiver) or is it advisable to keep a separate CD-player?
I'm in the process of completely replacing my stereo, centered around one of the receivers mentioned, and am intending to position the Pioneer as main CD-player but I'm not sure whether it (basically being a recorder) can double as a full fledge CD-player.

    Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
