Pioneer DVD Remote Interferes with Marantz Amp

I've just got a Pioneer 350 DVD and have discovered that the 'up' navigation button changes the selected input on my Marantz PM4200 amp, after about 2-3 presses.

Any ideas?

Cannot help, but my Wharfdale 750 remote confilcts with my Marantz CD63 [and versa vica].

Marantz seem to be one of the worst offenders for this. My Marantz receiver remote conflicts with my Loewe TV but it doesn't pose much of a problem.

Ah well, a bit of tape over the Marantz IR hole should do it :/
