Weird problem this.

When playing certain DVD-audio discs, no picture is visable - for example, Neil Young's Greendale. ( the sound plays fine, even though there is no picture)

When playing another disc, say Porcipine Trees new release, the picture is visable and the sound is fine!

Any ideas?

The "Pure Audio" button is not on...

The projector is connected via HDMI

They are copy controlled using CPPM. This is the copy control scheme used for DVD-Audio. Remember that the current HDMI standards doesn't include DVD-Audio and SACD. And if the DVD-Audio is copy protected, you won't be able to see their images. You'll have to use the Component Video output for these DVD-Audio discs.

yeah, i just tried one of pioneer free offer dvd-audio disks 'George Benson' with mine and haven't got a picture!
got REM and Chicago to try.

Thanks for the advice - Can't use component - my xbox is already using that socket. Oh well, jusy have to listen to the music instead! Should save a few hours on my blub life!
