Is is a good player and is it worth £200?

Any issues i should know aparently this one has a emod upgrade with slots into the side of the machine to make it region free? I dont rightly understand what one of these is. is there anything i should be aware of?

    thanks for any advice

    At £200 'with' a mod I'd say you've got a bargain.
It's still a much, much better player than a lot of the new players today.
For info on the E-Mod which you prob have in it, go to www.techtronics.com for full info on it. But put simply, it's a small chip stuck ino your player that allows it to read region 1 discs, ie from USA. It also allows all the other regions, but R1 is the most used.
    Buy it with confidence.
The only real known problem is lip synch errors, where occasinally the film will be out of synch with the audio. Some say it's rampant, others say it's not a problem. For a broader view search, 'lip synch' on this forum and you'll have a much better idea.
Otherwise, get one and enjoy R1 imports like the rest of us. :D
