Pioneer dv600 Vs phillips 5980

Has anyone tested both of these DVD players out? If so, did you notice a noticeable difference?

I was thinking of swapping my Pioneer at richersounds tomorrow for the Phillips. Short of cash this week and can get £60 back so i think it makes sense.

Doesn't make sense to me. The Pioneer will be much better than the Philips. Besides, you can only take it back if you've only had it a few days.

Today is my last day to swap the unit so i am in a bit of a rush to make a decision.
