pioneer dv55 versus sony dav300

    Without doubt the Pioneer. Just pop down to any show room and you'll see, or rather 'hear'. <br />Sony only has a passive subwoofer, Pioneer has an active subwoofer. Plus the satellites are built better and just sound way nicer than the Sony.<br />More AV inputs on the Pioneer for conncetivity.

    Pioneer is slightly more expensive, but well worth it. Difference should be less than £50 if you look around on-line.

    Plus, the Pioneer is sexier <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">
