I need a player that can do all sorts of DivX and XviD, AC3, DTS and my budget seems to indicate one of these 2 players. I understand res will be limited to 720x480 on both, but which one would people suggest? Does anyone have info about the Samsung and how reliably it plays DivX and XviD ?

Thanks!

edit: and does the Sony DVP-NS76H do XviD too?

dunno about the sammy or sony, but the pio is good. i had a sammy 950 but replaced it with the 696 as it had too many niggles. i don't think the sony is a universal player like the 696 which plays sacd and dvda and most things you can throw at it
