My DVD player suddenly wont allow me to access the Set-up Menu. I have tried the reset , stop and power on, but nothing seems to happen. All the other controls from the remote seem to work OK, can change subtitles language etc but still am unable to access the Player set up menu. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

Could it be the remote??? are you able to use any buttons on the unit itself to access the menu

I think the remote is fine. All the buttons operate as expected. On the unit itself there is no access to the Setup menu - I'm sure - unless there is some two button sequence one could press.

I have sent an email to Pioneer but no response - I expect them to say it needs to be returned.

    Thanks
