I've tried posting this elsewhere on the AV forum but didn't have a response so I thought I'd try here

    Front L & R speaker noise
I wonder whether any of you can give me some basic advice on what to check.

I have a pioneer dcs303 home cinema and the front left and right speakers generate quite a lot of noise. It is audible during quiter moments in films etc.

It has been connected with the speaker cables supplied.

What should I be checking for to try and reduce or stop the noise.

Am I expecting too much and should there be some noise present.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Thanks

    Andy

I have the same system but no problems at all. Are your speakers far enough apart as I noticed the manual mentioned a minimum of 1.8 to 2m, just a thought.

    cheers
