Hi Forum

So I turn to you guys agian for some advice...

Must say before I start asking that thanks to you previous replys and links I have chosen a pioneer dv- 454 as my new dvd player(tosh is hard to come by in denmark).

Anyway, now it is time for making it codefree. I called the local pioneer office and they told me that one doesn't have to get inside the finer mechanics to make it codefree, but just use one of theese universal remotes. Does anyone out there know if there is a way to get it fixed without paying some hardware store £50 for pressing 5 buttons on a remote. Is there a homepage on the net that provides the info needed to do it be my self??

thanks in advance

cheers

I am not sure that there are remote based hacks for Pioneer models (I will check and come back to you) however you can purchase a small card that plugs into the back of the unit ... visit www.dvdupgrades.ch for details.
