Please find for sale a Pioneer BDP-450 blu ray player with custom firmware, what can this do?
    - Change blu ray and DVD region so you can play your collection of USA disks.
    - Playback full blu ray images with menus etc from USB (BD.iso)
    - Playback full 3D blu ray with full menus etc from USB. (3D.iso)
    - Playback Full DVD images with menus etc from USB or NFS/CIFS/DLNA Network.
    - Playback MKV's and other media supported media files, flac etc from NFS/CIFS/DLNA Network.
    - No Cinavia detection.
Oh and it is a fully featured blu ray, DVD, SACD, DVD audio player as well that can drive dual displays. Main HDMI out has the Marvel(ous) Qdeo Chip for excellent picture quality.

Item is fully boxed with remote control, item is in great condition except, under bright light there is a 'smudge' or mark on the lid that i wasnt aware of till i took it of the stand.

So stop messing around with those crappy Android players and get a real machine.

I would prefer collection at £145 (Leigh WN7 Greater Manchester), insured and signed for delivery will cost £9.29 extra (Paypal F&F).

    Price and currency: £145
Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
    Payment method: Cash, Paypal
    Location: Leigh WN7
    Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I have no preference

Should have added i have been off work sick now for a while and with Christmas coming up potentially everything is for sale :-(
Forgot to add, the custom firmware is purchased and up to date, not the old V4 very buggy freeware version that did the rounds.

Morning. I'm afraid I live in London, so pickup is impossible.
I slept on it, and I need to focus funds on the new 4K TV first!
I'll withdraw my offer, I'm sure you'll sell it in no time!
    GLWS!

Hello i have just plugged a dual dock in with 2x 3TB drives in each (6TB in total) and it identified both drives as separate drives and played back MKV/ISO's from both.

What would you say the difference is (appart from 4k) between this and your 58?

The 58 had the 'darbee' effect, the guy that came and bought the 58 didn't actually like the Darbee effect at all. If you read the Steve Withers review of the 450 he says given there is no analogue circuitry in it at all it can operate as a true digital transport (Pioneer ripped all the extra bits and pieces out of it to make a pure and simple blu ray player).. in Laymans terms with the qdeo processor which is normally only seen in higher end products the picture is fantastic and would only be spoiled by a lacklustre TV. I won't lie, the 58 was a bit special, that's why it cost £600+ but you would need a 65inch like mine to notice really.
The only other gripe with the 450 is i have never been able to Sync the 2 HDMI's up on the 450 (1x for video, 1 for audio) on the 58 i settled on 156ms, i gave up on the 450 and just used it on the main HDMI.

Hello, unfortunately I missed on this...but just wondering, how fast is it at playing iso's? does it take a while for it to load up and play? is it full blu ray picture and sound quality? Can you rewind and fast forward? Does it crash?

The player thinks there is a disk in the drive so it plays exactly as a blu-ray disk would, and like because blu rays are full of java menu's it can only load as fast as the disk would, it still has to process the java.
Does it crash? everything crashes if you press loads of buttons before they have finished doing what they are doing, it don't really remember it crashing, i remember my TV crashing a few times though.
