Pioneer BCS-SB616 Soundbar and BluRay any reviews?!

Standard Member
Hello there I'm new to the forums, the reason I am here is that I can't find any valuable info or a review for this all in one system.
It has got all I was after for my set up with the looks as well, but I have no idea about the sound quality. I know it can't match the separates, but is it worth getting?
Is there anybody who has actually come across one of these?
The thing that I can't even find any video of it on the YouTube scares me a little but Pioneer is known for good sound output for the money, so it can't be that bad..
I can get it for under £400 from Cherry Electronics what seems a good deal...
What do You think of it?
Thanks a lot

That is the main unit form the bcs212 home cinema with a sound bar instead of 5.1 speakers, read the bcs212 reviews, I'm sure they will be similar:

You are paying £175ish more to get the sound bar over the speakers though.

BCS-212 5.1 Blu-ray 3D Home Cinema System (BD-Live) with HD Audio, DLNA, USB and Satellite Speakers - Pioneer Home Cinema - Surround Sound system

Unless you really want a soundbar I'd also have a look at the sony all-in-ones which are pretty good value at the moment.

Thanks for the reply, I never noticed that.. But what I'm concerned about is that reviews of BCS-313 wouldn't tell me much about the sound quality of a SB616 soundbar as it is 5.1 system and it uses different speakers even tho it has the same main unit..
As You pointed out the price difference of about £120 (BCS-313 £270, SB-616 £390) seems a bit steep for sacrificing the use of 5.1 speakers so that's why I need to know if the sound is sufficient for my needs..
I forgot to mention it would be hooked up to
LG 47LX9900
Xbox 360 Slim
In a small room so that's why I would prefer to get a soundbar.. I had a look at Sony HT-CT550W which looks good and for the same money as SB616, but as I gather no BluRay player..
