Im having some issues with my blu ray receiver as of today.

I took the to off the stand to change the position of the brackets so it sat a little higher. After plugging everything back in i have no picture and a message on my tv saying "No signal - Check connected devices power, cable, source"

I know it is picking the blu ray up to an extent because if i pull the hdmi from it the message on screen changes to "check signal cable"

So i have the hdmi going from the output on the receiver direct to my tv.
An xbox on input 1 on the receiver.

I have cycled through the sources on the receiver and each one displays nothing.

On hdmi 1 on the receiver. It picks up the xbox and sound will play through the speakers.

So everything works as it should apart from nothing being sent to my tv.

Ive swapped the hdmi cable and tried different inputs on the tv.

Before the problem i had the receiver playing music through the built in menu. Picture on screen. Left the music playing unplugged the hdmi and moved the tv. after that no picture.

    Really ****ed off with it

ive also put the xbox in direct to the tv and it works fine

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

76 views and not one reply?

Could it be hdmi handshake or something?
