I have just got a set of Mordaunt short Speakers
    FRONT 908
    REAR 903s
    CENTRE 905c
    SUB 309

I was wondering should i get another set of the bipole 903s and have 7.1
What benifits will i gain from this set up or should i stick to 5.1 or get another centre speaker and go for 6.1

    cheers

If you’re going for 6.1 you may as well go the full-hog for 7.1. Depends how much space you have really.

I would suggest using MS302's for speakers 6&7 as using multiple bi/dipoles on the rear can lead to a messy sound field- the driver in the 302 is identical to the 903 so the sonic match will be spot on.

Top tip from Tons there thanks.

Since the 902's and 903's are the same price, if i was buying a 7.1 and going for them i'd rather buy 2 pairs of the 903's and put 1 pair at the rear. That buying judgement wouldn't have been based on anything other than same price.

    Thanks Tons
