I have been using a Pioneer AX2 over the last couple of weeks and there is a really anoying high pitched whine coming from it, do they all do this or is it a faulty usint.

I had a search through the old threads and saw nothing so hope it is a faulty unit I have.

Could owners please listen to theres and report back?

Even if you go to an input like Sky and turn the box off you can hear it, it stops briefly when changing channels but as soon as it switces from PLII to DD or whatever the whine returns. I have really sesnitive speakers which may not help matters.
I also drive the front 2 channels with a seperate amp and the whine comes out of the front pair too.

    Look forward to an answer,

    cheers

    Guy

Pioneer VSX-AX2AV, yep that's the one.

Thanks, I will take it into where I bought it from and get them to have a listen and compare it with another one.

    Anyone else??
