Hi, I hope some of you guys can help me out. I have been looking at upgrading to plasmer and originally looked at the panasonic viera but want HD so have looked at the pioneer PDP435FDE, and at £2500 from Richer Sounds looks a good price. Though I am now confused as there is also the pioneer PDP435XDE which looks the same, but they do not sell, so does anyone know what the difference is, and am I making a good choice in the pioneer?

I also will be looking at upgrading the speaker system, either to surround sound or just floor or wall mounted beside the screen but have no idea whats a good set up, and if I will get anything half decent for my £500 budget.

Any advice from anyone will be much appreciated.

    Many thanks........Richard
