Pioneer 868i delivery & cables

Hi all

I have a couple of questions about Pio 868

1- Does anyone of you guys know when it will be more readilly available?

2-Does the 868 come with the i-link cable in the box? Or does the cable come with the Amp that sports an i-Link (like the AX5)?

1) No idea, some are saying next shipment is end of month but they might be spoken for. I've been waiting a couple of weeks

2) It comes with the cable, no amp doesn't

As far as i know no it doesn't

I a changing my DV88+, i don't know if its a good move as regard to picture quality but i want to ilink to my AX10i, then i might be tempted to change my plasma to the 504, fingers crossed

Rob, I have a 504 on its way "sometime this month I hope". I thought the best way to connect will be HDMI and since there are only 2 pioneer dvd players 868 & 668 I thought I'd go for one of them.

Now I am also buying a receiver, if I finally decide on the AX5 - I will have to go the 868 way to use te i-Link. If I decide to go for a Denon or HK then I'll get the 668 for HDMI only.
