Does anyone know whether an ilink cable is supplied in the box with this player?
will be surprised if it doesn't; my 757Ai came with one.
Yes it is although its of absolutely no use to me as I have a Denon amp with the Denon link.
Thanks for the responses. Now I am completely confused as Pioneer UK have just sent me an e-mail saying that an ilink cable is not supplied with this player!
Obviously what I am tring to avoid is the player turning up (if it ever does) and not being able to connect via ilink there and then due to lack of a suitable cable.
It does come with an i-Link cable.
I wonder if the person at Pioneer thought you meant a HDMI cable etc.
Even if it didn't come with an i-Link cable, you can buy them in any computer shop (PC World etc).
They are just standard S400(4 pin) mini Firewire cables.
I got mine yesterday - including I-link cable. So it is in there
Where did you buy your 868 from and do they have stock?
I got it in Edinburgh, but unfortunately a) no more stock, and b) mine was DOA Picture worked, but HDMI dead, and no co-ax or optical out. So back to my old player until replaced
