    I believe that the 668 uses 12 bit and the 868 uses 14 bit

    Hopefully it's just a mistake on the website.

    mike did you get any feedback from pioneer about this, is it confirmed as 14bit, thanks.

    Oh meant to say tempted to order one now, just need to find a place with stock as i take it there is short supply?

    Just received a brochure on the 868/757/668 players from Pioneer. This states 868-14bit/ 668/757- 12bit.
    The 868/668 also have newer I-P VQE8 chips, the 757 has VQE7. 868/668 have triple layer chassis and also new 6 layer PCBs which enable shorter signal paths.
