Pioneer 868+Nec HT1000+HDMI-DVI Cable

    Any experience with these elements?
    I´ve read that the Nec is DVI-D (HDCP) and the Pioneer is HDMI, but I would like to know if will be video compatible.

    it should be...... i cant think of why not though i guess someone might correct me on that (hopefully wont since this is a possible upgrade step for me)

    This should be okay with the correct adapter, at least according to the handy test tables on this french forum.

    If you get it working, I'd be interested in the results. I was recently over at RTFMs, and he was running an 868 into the Sim2 iLINK, and the picture seemed a tad better than from htpc via DVI.

    RTFM was running it in pixel to pixel mode at 720 IIRC.
