I know there are quite a few 757 owners out there so hopefully they can help.

    1. Does the 757Ai do RGB loop through from Scart to Scart? My TV only has one RGB scart and I want the DVD and Sat box to output RGB.

    2. Region Free 757Ai looks good from Techtronics, do I really need the more expensive but very handy slot in Emod rather than the standard mod?

    3. Any suggestions other than Techtronics for a multiregion 757 that plays RCE disks?

    4. Finally any thoughts on what other Universal multiregion player with RGB loop through I could look at?

    Thanks
    Rog

    1) Yes

    2) The more expensive (Enterprise) mod gives you PAL progressive which is useful if you have a progressive scan display and lots of R2 discs.

    3) LE Concepts sell them modded and is fine with RCE discs AFAIK

    4) Don't know any.

Sounddog and Dimmy thanks for the info. Thats just what I needed. In particular the RGB bit. Leconcepts are £10 cheaper than Techtronics. The question is do I want to spend another £238 to do Pal Prog? As my Sony TV doesnt do Prog at all I think not.

However one day I might get a Plasma. But I would probably get another DVD with loads ore features then anyway.

Bloke I know had his 42" Plasma nicked from his house. I would like to see someone take my 90Kg 36" Sony. 3 Big burglars and a van minimum for that.

    Cheers Rog

I knew there had to be a reason why people buy 36 inch CRTs. That must be it. How much did the concrete reinforcements to the floor cost?

Nigel, the floor was OK it was finding the rack that would support 90Kg that was tough. Cost best part of £300 which hadnt occured to me when I bought the TV.

    Anyway its a top telly.

Sorry to come over all shocked but I did not realise the 757 did PAL Progressive.

    1 Is it good?

2 where can you get it from?

3 and does it really cost a whopping £280?

Dave if you look at www.techtronics.com and search out the 757Ai you will see one mod option (Emod+ I think) is a small card that slots into the Pioneer. The page says it provides PAL Prog on the 757Ai. But the mod is a hefty price.
