pioneer 737 or htpc ????

    hi can you please advise me on which would be a better option, a pioneer 737 or a htpc?

    i will connect it to an lcd projector with proggressive input

    Well, it depends....

    Some LCD units will not allow aspect ratio control when fed a rgb signal. With these you'd have to use the HTPC with aspect ratio control software such as YxY. This may make it harder for others to operate (which may be a bonus of course) ;)

    The 737 is plug and play but outputs in Component. You'll have to make sure the projector accepts prog component inputs. This is undoubtedly the easiest option but I'd think a well set up and designed HTPC may offer superior video fidelity.
