Does anyone have a problem playing Dinosaur?

I have a Pioneer737 which plays the disc but every now it freezes and then you have to flick to the menu then back again!

Or do you have another player which is causing problems??

    Please details problems below.

    Thanks
    Ace

ACE I have a pioneer 919 and as I recall ( and im so sorry about our spat ) you also had a problem with hollow man.

Im just wondering if you do have a slightly dodgy mod on your player as as far as im aware both your and my players tend to share the same sorts of modifications when made multi-region !

I have both mentioned films and they both play fine.

Might be worth checking your player if you can !

    Hope you get some luck

    Duncan,

    Thanks for the reply,

I had the Hollow Man problem with the Sony325 which promted me to buy the Top of the range Pioneer737. Hollow Man and The Patriot (Damn good film!) both play fine and dandy on my new machine it's just Dinosaur giving a bit of jip!

    Anyone else???

The only other thing could be either a dirty disc ( just clean it ) or a dodgy disc !

When I first purchased TOY STORY 1 and 2, TOY STORY 2 would refuse to play on my 919, it played fine on my R1 only TOSHIBA player that I have had sonce around august 97 and played fine on my DVD-ROM drive just not on my 919. So I had to get a replacement which plays fine on all the players

    no idea what was wrong

Why does it have a list which is automatically compiled of every visiter to this site that has a problem?

Please show us where it is I can't find it.....you are so clever

    Duncan,

I will try the Disc out on a friends Player to rule it out, just got to make time to go over. Until then I just wanted to see if alot of people were having the same problem or if any other Pioneer737 were ok with the disc. I don't know if it has something todo with the mod. I have one of the latest ones.

    Cheers anyway

Not only cleverer but clearly I have better eyesight! You see that big pronto on the left of the screen? Try clicking the second button from the top - its sometimes very interesting!

I was in Play247 yesterday and their top selling Dinosaur DTS Collectors edition now has a warning about which players it will and wont play on - check it out, I'll wait to see if anyone has problems with a DV-717 before I get the popcorn in.
