pioneer 656 US version an option?

    has anyone got this and care to comment on
    pic quality
    i see the US version has component and ntsc prog.scan

    UK version of 656 is great with a small TV (32 inches) - It has component out but my tv doesn't accept this input.

    US version has no sacd

    If all you want is prog scan then philips & HK have machines in this country that do this for around £300 reputedly theycompete in terms of pic quality but the pioneers trump card is universal playback - If thats not what you want I'd look elsewhere.
