I have a 656 from LE Concepts. Great sound and pic, but when I play a R1 DVD on my Panny PK1 TV, the menus and (presumably) the picture shifts about 2 inches to the left.

I could be barking up the wrong tree, but could this be an NTSC / PAL issue? Is there any way to change the DVD output from NTSC to PAL?

    Any advice appreciated.

I think most Pioneer dvd players have a switch on the back with the following settings: Pal, NTSC and Auto. Put it in auto and everything should be allright.

In the instruction book that came with your DV656a it will tell you how to switch modes from PAL to NTSC to AUTO.

    Very simple process indeed.
