I have just read a review on a pioneer 59avi @ secrets of hometheatre.

What is the equivalent player in the UK? It gets a very good review!!! as opposed to the 79avi which is the pioneer 989 if I'm not mistaken?
I may upgrade my denon 2910 to a player which does not use faroudja based progressive chip. This causes artifacts on my panny screen.
Any views from anyone?
