Pioneer 585 or Yamaha 657 ?

Please help me choose.....

I will be using it with a Sharp 200E DLP projector. So far I am happy with the PQ of my Denon 1910. But unfortunately it has to go as it has a faulty laser.
I like the deep blacks of the Denon image. Will any of these players be able to match that??

Any views, owner experiences appreciated.

I would go for the pioneer though I don't have experience of either player, pioneers seem to be the better ones to go for
