    Hello,

I got the Pioneer 575A and I see a "broken" horizontal white line on top of the image. Anybody knows what it is and how I can remove it?

This line is either closed captions or wide screen signalling.
Closed captions are often output on line 21 of NTSC, in this case the broken line will fill the width of the screen, and will be seen to wurgle about when there is dialogue.
Wide screen signalling is given out on line 23 of PAL. In this case the the line will be seen only in the left half of the screen.
Usually the only way to remove it is to adjust the V size/position settings of the display so as to slightly crop the image vertically.

    Hope this helps

Thanks, however I see this lines even without any DVD inside the DVD player, when the Pioneer logo is shown.
