As stated in title, are these still available in Black finish and multiregion?

    If so where from?

Cheers if anyone has any pointers.

I think you'd be lucky to find one. 2nd hand market may be your best option, but I don't think many people are parting with them!

I wanted a black one but Richer didn't stock them. I did read of one guy getting a black one by mistake and he took it back!

    PJTX100,

    Cheers,

Pretty much what I thought to be honest. Just wanted to check to see if there was anywhere I didn't know of.

And the bloke who took it back......... Hmm. Why couldn't I get one by mistake. Oh well just a thought.

Anyway How do you find the Oppo by comparison? What do you use to feed your projector?

I use both, the Pio plugged into component, the Oppo DVI. In terms of usability and looks the Pio is the best machine, also geat PQ, and the bonus of very competent SACD/DVD-A thrown in.

The Oppo looks a bit cheap, it's usability is a bit iffy (eg no resume), but as piece of tecnology to extract the most out of DVD it just pips the Pio on pic quality....PJ :)

They are strill in stock here but although Multiregional, unfortunately, from your point of view, they are in silver - don't know if that's any good or not.

    Cheers,

    Martin.

Would you say it was worth buying over the 575 in your opinion. Just interested.

    mjcairney,

Cheers. Had seen them at RC but black is what I am after. May have to bite the bullet and go for silver though if I get one.

As PJTX100 stated 2nd hand market seems only way forward for one in black.

    Cheers,
