Pioneer 575 audio settings

    Help:
    when I put in a dd 5.1 disc and play the film, when I press display to show the settings it always says audio dolby digital 3/2.1 when Im sure I have the right menu settings, and have it linked through the coax to the amp. The sound is 5.1 but I dont know if Im getting the best out of it as it may be the amp (marantz sr4200) is converting the audio in some way.
    I have audio settings as dd-dd, dts-dts etc....

    Don't worry 3/2.1 is just the way that the Pioneer display DD/DTS 5.1
