Picked up the 575 a few days ago and it's a great little player but have noticed a slight problem with it. Everytime i play a dvd the 1st second or 2 of audio is inaudible. It basically happens everytime a new "title" is played and also includes the first time the disc menu appears as well. My player is connected up to a Pioneer 814 amp via an optical digital connection which is the same as used with my previous player and that didn't have this problem......Anybody else had this problem..???

The audio's not out of sync.....just becomes audible a second or two after it should have started. The player's firmware is 2.09.

    Thanks!!

never heard anything like it with the dv575.
don't know about the amp but is it set to some auto-detect for the input?
try to lock it to digital for that input.

yeah i have that problem too, although it only happens on the dvd menu and when you play the film, not at every scene or anything so i dont count it as a major problem
