What s the purpose of the audio 5.1 output of the dv575?
If you re going to connect the dvd player to your amp this is made by conneting two channel audio to your amp which makes the 5.1 decoding.
    Isn t this right?

    Nope.
You can use the digital outputs, optical or coaxial. Or use the 6 phono outputs to the 5.1 input on your amp.

The 5.1 phono outputs is for DVDA and SACD.
