The Pioneer 530/630 et. al, on first setting up, scans for all the analogue TV channels available i.e. BBC1,2, ITV1,CH4 and Five and stores these under some simple numbering system such as P001,2,3 etc.. These would presumably be shown on the recorder's display in a similar manner? In the instruction manual, it explains that these can be renamed such that you can actually call the scanned programmes by names such as BBC1 and BB2 etc? When setting up the EPG Guideplus+ and assigning the Channels listed to either the internal tuner or external one (for recording puposes) is it necessary to enter the channel name exactly as you renamed that particular channel. For example if your renamed P001 as BBC1 then is this the name you must enter?
