I am new to DVD recording.
In the user guide for the Pioneer 5100H I read about the "Disc Back-up" function.
It states it can (a.o.?) perform a full (backup) copy, using the HDD as temporary storage, to either a DVD-R or DVD-RW.
The process seems very easy indeed.
I have also enabled 'Optimized recording' - kinda like 'fit to space'.
Now I have 2 questions, before I try and mess up some discs:
    - Will I be able to copy a >4.7 GB disc this way ? (using optimized rec).
    - Will I be able to backup/copy my non-region coded, non-protected 'factory made' DVD-Video discs this way ?
(it concerns factory made product demo discs - I know if it is CSS scrambled it won't work).
If it does work, will it copy all contents, menu's included ?
Also the Sony BIT enhanced-DVD's (non protected?) - would it for those too ?
