I was going to order a JS technology Scart RGB to Plasma VGA box, to take my Digibox signal to the pioneer 50MXE1 screen, which arrives next week. I am getting the 04 video board, so I can take my DVD players component inputs directly into that.
I have just downloaded more detailed specs for the screen and it says
"PC input 1 Mini D-sub 15 Pin , RGB signal (G on Sync compatible)"

Does this mean I can get a direct cable from my Sky scart RGB to Mini D-Sub and therefor not require the JS technology converter.

I thought I had everything sussed. Until I read that wee bit, I was sure I needed the converter.

    Cheers
    Ray

Unfortunately not. RGB scart is RGBs (composite sync), the plasma requires RGsB (sync on green) or RGBHV (h and v syncs). The JS boxes converter RGBs into RGBHV for plasma displays.

Thanks for that. Means I was right and the guy who was worrying me at one of the suppliers was wrong. Your help greatly appreciated.
