    Hi Folks

On friday I take delivery of my new 507XD

Could any kind owners please help me in advance :lease:

Because its going on the wall, approx 3-4 metres from av stand, I now need to purchase lots of new cables (3-5 metres)/bracket etc....

Here's what I'll be hooking up to-

    Sky HD- Via HDMI.
    Oppo 981 DVD- Via HDMI.
    xbox 360- via component.

I've also got an El Cheapo Sony surround sound system to hook up which at the moment is conected to the back of the outgoing Panny PX60 by 2 analogue cables.
It has optical cables going to the dvd player and the sky hd box.
It also has a "digital coaxial" socket that's not being used.

I've read that the 507 has something unusual with its audio sockets and this is really worrying me... input only or is it output only or something  and that you have to use a scart lead for sound?

I'm worried i'll buy the wrong cables and at these lengths they're pretty expensive, so can someone advise?

    I think i need-

1x 5M HDMI for Sky HD
1x 5M HDMI for DVD player
1x 3-5M component cable + 1x Triple RCA Connector to join to existing Xbox 360 component cable.

1x 3-5M phono lead for xbox 360 ** or is this where the scart comes in!**
1x phono connector to join existing phono lead from xbox.

1x 5M phono for Sony S/S **or should this also be scart **
**or should this be the coaxial**

I'm sorry i sound stupid but i'm getting really confused and its all because of these sound connections on the Pio, it's all so simple on the PX60!!

Anyone have the 507 mounted on the wall and can recommend a good "slim" wall bracket?

Any other tips or things to think about before delivery day friday regarding the Pio 507XD that might be useful to Mr Clueless here would be soooo gratefully received.

Has anyone bought the 507 from John Lewis and know if it comes with speaker/s. They said it comes with a stand but in my excitement i forgot to ask about speakers :suicide:

Yes it does, one long, undermount speaker.

    Not particularly good though....
